Newly released, previously recorded
The Flow reports on October 1st the release of Lida’s concert film from the VK Stadium. The show took place on May 18, 2024. What’s new is the released film; the concert itself is not a current event. On the linked YouTube channel of Lida, the recording can be viewed directly.
Why a live film belongs on CCCP RAP
Those who have previously only known a scene through Reels gain a different perspective with a full show: transitions between songs, the audience’s reaction, and the staging on stage become part of the music. That’s why we supplement short recommendations with longer original formats. The film serves here as an introduction to live culture; a personal evaluation of each individual song would be a separate review.
From the screen to personal discovery
Our suggestion: first listen into the recording, then open the artist’s side of the original channel and compare further releases. This way, a single find becomes a traceable listening path. The format expands the view of the Russian-language music scene; the musical boundaries between rap and electronic live performance remain consciously visible.
