Hiphop.de published a new interview with Eko Fresh on October 1. He explains why he wanted to bring the German Dream label chapter to a close and what he plans for Paperboy. The conversation looks back on a decision made more than a year ago; it is not news of a new label closure.
Choosing to close a chapter
Eko describes German Dream as a story that stayed with him for many years. Alongside its successes, there were difficult periods. He says the original dream had come true for many of the people involved, and that he wanted to draw a line under that chapter rather than carry it forward indefinitely.
Paperboy looks beyond music
With Paperboy, Eko wants to explore other creative fields, including film production. In the interview, he does not rule out signing new artists in the future. The full conversation is embedded in the original video.
